An aircond chemical wash is a deep cleaning service that goes far beyond what a standard cleaning can achieve. Over time, your air conditioning unit accumulates layers of dust, dirt, grease, mould, and bacteria on the evaporator coil, blower wheel, and drainage components. A standard wipedown simply cannot reach these internal parts — and that is where a chemical wash comes in.

During a chemical wash, our senior technicians fully dismantle your indoor unit, removing the filters, front covers, blower wheel, and drainage pan. The evaporator coil is then soaked and cleaned using a professional-grade alkaline chemical solution that dissolves stubborn grime, kills 99.9% of bacteria, and removes mould buildup. Your aircond is not cooling properly. If the air coming out of your unit feels warm or lukewarm even at the lowest temperature setting, the evaporator coil is likely clogged with dirt. A chemical wash restores the coil to near-original condition, bringing back that icy cold airflow.

There is a musty or foul smell. Bad odours usually mean mould and bacteria have built up inside the unit. A standard cleaning will not fix this because the source of the smell is deep inside the coil and drainage system. Chemical washing eliminates the root cause.

Our Chemical Wash Process

We have perfected our chemical wash process over 20+ years of servicing aircond units across Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, and the wider Klang Valley. Here is how it works, step by step:

Step 1 — Preparation and Protection. Our technician lays protective sheets around the work area to keep your walls and floor clean. We check the unit model, brand (Daikin, Panasonic, York, Acson, or others), and horsepower before starting.

Step 2 — Full Dismantle. The indoor unit is carefully dismantled. Filters, front covers, blower wheel, fan blades, and the drainage pan are all removed for individual cleaning.

Step 3 — Chemical Soak and Wash. The evaporator coil is treated with a professional alkaline chemical solution. This dissolves hardened dirt, grease, and organic matter that ordinary cleaning cannot reach. Each component is individually washed.

Step 4 — High-Pressure Drainage Flush. The drainage pan and pipes are flushed with high-pressure water to clear any blockages and prevent future water leakage.

Step 5 — Antibacterial Treatment. An antibacterial mist is applied to eliminate remaining bacteria and mould spores, ensuring the air your aircond circulates is clean and healthy.

Step 6 — Reassembly and Gas Top-Up. All components are reassembled and the unit is restored to its original position. A FREE gas top-up of up to 10kg of refrigerant (R22, R32, or R410A depending on your unit) is included.
